Net Zero Minister: red letter day for our region’s renewable sector a big step towards UK’s future

IT was a red letter day for the region’s renewable energy sector, with the official opening of the operations and maintenance (O&M) base for the world’s biggest wind farm.

Climate Post has already brought you an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the O&M base for Dogger Bank Wind Farm, and introduced you to the man who will run it.

Today we report on the official opening of the purpose-built state-of-the-art base, at Port of Tyne, attended by a Government Minister who told Climate Post the occasion is a major step forward for the UK on the world renewable energy stage.
